Expert in adolescent reproductive health and rights (SSRHR), she is at the top of the hierarchy in terms of training; since it trains both trainers and adolescents in sexual and reproductive health (SRH) its modules include: advocacy and communication techniques.

She currently holds the position of regional coordinator of the Cameroonian National Association for Family Welfare (CAMNAFAW) in the northwest region. Like a mother, she has run the CAMNAFAW youth center in the said region for 7 years already. Before taking up this position, she was national coordinator of the network of adolescents and young people in Africa (‘Naya); These two positions of responsibility require from her a certain responsibility when it comes to the promotion of the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents in Cameroon and Africa. This ease in the subject comes from a series of capacity building in matters of SSRA, project writing, management of cases of gender-based violence, strengthening which took place internally and abroad. outside the country. If today she is active in the field of health, nothing predicted such a future for her since the mother of the teenagers has a degree in modern English literature.

Adolescents are not the only ones to be included in its register of trainees; there are young people from government sectors and international organizations with whom it has led advocacy in favor of access to information and services. quality information on SRH for adolescents and young people. Her career has allowed her to be a consultant for the development of information sheets on advocacy used for advocacy actions aimed at promoting the sexual rights of adolescents and young people in Cameroon. irene, also participated in the development of training manuals and guides for peer educators, as well as national documents on ssra and hiv/aids; she has a passion for promoting the sexual reproductive health of adolescents with a particular emphasis on young people, due to the crisis context experienced in the area.
